Why Ally Veterinary Specialty Center?
At Ally Veterinary Specialty Center, we believe veterinary medicine could be different, so we made it. We're a woman-owned and led independent boutique center dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized care to pets and their owners. As an established specialty practice expanding into new disciplines, we're looking for a passionate oncologist ready to design their ideal practice.
This is a rare opportunity: You won't just join a practice; you'll shape one from the ground up alongside an innovative leadership team and collaborative specialists in dermatology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, and behavior.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a collaborative and entrepreneurial Veterinary Oncologist to launch and lead oncology services at Ally. Whether you're ready to begin in our current space or looking to transition over the coming months, you'll have a dedicated exam room and treatment space, with direct input on building your oncology program and diagnostic capabilities as we grow.
This role is ideal for someone who:
-
Wants autonomy in designing their diagnostic approach, treatment protocols, and patient experience
-
Values a predictable schedule focused on oncology without emergency demands or hospitalization
-
Thrives in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment where you consult with other specialists
-
Seeks meaningful input on diagnostic equipment, treatment options, and team structure
-
Is passionate about delivering comprehensive oncology diagnostics and compassionate care
-
Is excited about building something from the ground up while contributing to the vision for our expanded future.
What Makes This Different
Your Own Oncology Practice
Unlike corporate hospitals or high-volume clinics, you'll design your oncology practice from the foundation up. You'll have direct input on:
-
Diagnostic equipment for oncology imaging and laboratory testing
-
Treatment space configuration tailored to your clinical approach and protocols
-
Chemotherapy and treatment management protocols aligned with your philosophy
-
Team composition and collaboration with internal medicine and other specialists
The Collaborative Advantage
Work alongside board-certified specialists in dermatology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, and behavior. Consult on complex cases involving oncologic disease and systemic conditions, collaborate on comprehensive treatment plans, and build a referral network in a supportive, collegial environment.
Diagnostic and Treatment-Based Practice Model
As an out-patient specialty facility focused on oncology diagnostics and medical management, you'll enjoy:
-
Deep, thorough diagnostic consultations without rushed time constraints
-
Focus on compassionate oncology care and medical protocols rather than emergency treatment
-
Flexible scheduling tailored to diagnostic and consultation-based work
-
Strong relationships with referring veterinarians and committed pet owners
The Freedom to Build
Partner with an established, successful practice that understands specialty medicine challenges. Have a voice in practice decisions, equipment investments, and growth direction while enjoying the support structure you need to thrive.
