Ally Veterinary Specialty Center is a boutique veterinary specialty center based in Lincoln, Massachusetts. We offer a range of services including oncology, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and palliation.
As a women-owned and privately held center, our staff, the pets we treat, and their loved ones are treated like family.
About the Oncologist
Michelle Custead, DVM, MS, DACVIM
Michelle graduated from VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. After completing a rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists and an oncology internship in Washington D.C. under a pioneering oncologist in both pediatric oncology and canine osteosarcoma, she went on to obtain her diplomate of ACVIM in oncology and a master’s degree from Purdue University. With over 10 years of experience in medical oncology, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise.
She has published in the fields of personalized medicine, dose optimization, and metronomic chemotherapy.
She prides herself in excellent communication and ensuring that pet owners fully understand their pet’s diagnosis and options. Knowing that she has helped a family decide what is best for them while ensuring their pet maintains a good quality of life brings her great satisfaction.
